13 Weeks! And New hair!

Well here we are at 13 weeks. Or as I like to say, Large and In charge!

(Hope you like it Dezaray!)

Also I got new hair! My locks of Love Hair Drive was last Friday! We had over 32 donors give 10 inches or more to Locks of Love. If you are not familiar with this organization, they make wigs for children with Cancer or Alopecia.
This was my 4th donation! And my second Hair Drive.

Don't forget to make your guess in the baby pool!

Turned the corner?

Recap: Thanksgiving was great. Got some real good family time in. Went and did the Brooksville cirut with both sides of the Fam.
Here are some pictures:

Yesterday, I have never felt so weird and yucky.
The whole pregnancy thing is such a amazing, yet weird feeling. I felt nauseous and just bad all day. SO bad I didn't even get dressed. Totally not like me.
But today I feel like a whole new person! That is weird!

I thank god everyday for Eric being my husband, but especially these last two months. He is amazing. So understanding and compassionate. Truly the face of Christ to me.
I am unworthy of such love and compassion, most times. I love that boyfriend!

Here's to 203 days!

Looks like I am right on schedule to deliver as calculated, June 17Th 2010.

Some guesses on our side.
I think it's a boy, Eric says he doesn't know. But I think he thinks it's a girl.
I think it will be June 19th. He says sometime before the due date, because I am impatient.

So make your guesses!

Tomorrow is the day

Tomorrow is the day.

The day that I have waited for my entire life.

Tomorrow is the day that I will hear my baby's precious heartbeat.

A sound that I will forever remember.

A sound that will make me cry when I am 85 and remember this day.

When Eric and I are 90, we will talk about this day.

The Gift of Life

Heaven sent angelic and sweet

a bundle of joy so precious and meek

An answered prayer

a soul with a seed to grow for God

and live for a need

Works of Almighty from up above

meant to be meant to love

For you alone are proof

to show there is a Lord

we all must know

8 weeks

Exactly one week from today, we will hear the heartbeat of our little "bean".
I am super stoked. I hope to of course have everything go perfect.
Over this last weekend, I went on a trip with Lisa, Lida Marie and Rosemarie. We headed up to Louisiana to see our friend Bridget get married. I almost got sick on the trip, but due to the expertise of Lisa and her BFF Tara, I fought it off. The consensus of the seasoned Mothers on this trip, meaning Lisa and Tara is that I am sticking out too far to be only one bean in there. We will see if they are right soon enough!
Days have been tough lately. I get super tired and feel awful around 4:30 or 5pm. It lasts all evening, and sometimes all night. Evidently this Bean is a Party Animal! So here is what it looks like inside this week.

How your baby's growing:

New this week: Webbed fingers and toes are poking out from your baby's hands and feet, his eyelids practically cover his eyes, breathing tubes extend from his throat to the branches of his developing lungs, and his "tail" is just about gone. In his brain, nerve cells are branching out to connect with one another, forming primitive neural pathways. You may be daydreaming about your baby as one sex or the other, but the external genitals still haven't developed enough to reveal whether you're having a boy or a girl. Either way, your baby — about the size of a kidney bean — is constantly moving and shifting, though you still can't feel it.

Coming Next Week!

7 weeks

According to Baby Center.com here is what is going on with what is an ever changing name
"Blueberry" this week...

The big news this week: Hands and feet are emerging from developing arms and legs — although they look more like paddles at this point than the tiny, pudgy extremities you're daydreaming about holding and tickling. Technically, your baby is still considered an embryo and has something of a small tail, which is an extension of her tailbone. The tail will disappear within a few weeks, but that's the only thing getting smaller. Your baby has doubled in size since last week and now measures half an inch long, about the size of a blueberry.

If you could see inside your womb, you'd spot eyelid folds partially covering her peepers, which already have some color, as well as the tip of her nose and tiny veins beneath parchment-thin skin. Both hemispheres of your baby's brain are growing, and her liver is churning out red blood cells until her bone marrow forms and takes over this role. She also has an appendix and a pancreas, which will eventually produce the hormone insulin to aid in digestion. A loop in your baby's growing intestines is bulging into her umbilical cord, which now has distinct blood vessels to carry oxygen and nutrients to and from her tiny body.
